CommonWealth Purchasing Group, LLC

CommonWealth Purchasing Group, LLC is a national group purchasing program for community-based health and human service organizations. CommonWealth Purchasing Group, LLC is a subsidiary of the Massachusetts League of Community Health Center, the Primary Care Association for the state. We currently have 208 members in 26 states and over 20 vendor contracts, covering a wide range of products and services including office supplies and furniture, computer hardware and software, Office copiers, printing services, and promotional items: all at steeply discounted pricing and extraordinary customer service.

There is no cost to join our program, and never a fee for CommonWealth Members; our program is supported entirely by administrative fees paid by our vendors. Members are free to use only the contracts that meet their needs, and are under no obligation to use a minimum number of vendors or to meet any minimum purchase requirements. We offer an “apples-to-apples” cost comparison from recent invoices for any product line, to provide an accurate projection of the savings CommonWealth can deliver.

ACAP Celebrating Its 10th Anniversary!

ACAP is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year! The association was originally formed by health plans affiliated with community health centers, but it soon expanded to represent other community-based, nonprofit health plans.  Today, ACAP plans are the backbone of the Medicaid managed care program, which since 2000 has grown from serving 12 million to nearly 22 million low-income Americans.  Several ACAP members also operate Medicare Special Needs Plans (SNPs), managed long-term care plans, and state and local initiatives for the uninsured.
