ACAP PROMOTES JEFF VAN NESS TO VICE PRESIDENT FOR COMMUNICATIONS

WASHINGTON– The Association for Community Affiliated Plans today announced that Jeff Van Ness has been promoted to Vice President for Communications.

Mr. Van Ness has been a member of the ACAP team for nearly a decade. In that time, he has made invaluable contributions to the organization, elevating ACAP’s public profile and effectively communicating its operational and policy priorities. His accomplishments at ACAP are highlighted by the award-winning Medicaid is US campaign against cuts to safety net programs.

“In our 20 years, ACAP has become a trusted voice for Medicaid,” said ACAP CEO Margaret A. Murray. “Jeff has helped shape and amplify that voice, and his leadership and creativity has helped to place ACAP the forefront of discussions about safety net programs. We’re lucky to have him on our team and thrilled to announce his promotion today.”

Prior to joining ACAP, he held leadership positions at the National Committee for Quality Assurance and the Healthcare Distribution Management Association; his first job in Washington was in the enrollment division of a Medicaid health plan.

About ACAP:
