ACAP-Member Safety Net Health Plans Earn High Marks for Quality, Service in Recent NCQA Health Plan Ratings

ACAP-MEMBER SAFETY NET HEALTH PLANS EARN HIGH MARKS FOR QUALITY, SERVICE IN RECENT NCQA HEALTH PLAN RATINGS

WASHINGTON – A recent report issued by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) found that a number of Safety Net Health Plan members of the Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP) earned high marks in its Medicaid Health Plan Ratings 2022-2023, a national ranking of health plans based on publicly-reported metrics of clinical quality and member experience.

NCQA, an independent organization dedicated to improving quality and value in health care, oversees the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), the most widely-used set of performance measures in the health care industry.

Top-performing ACAP-member Safety Net Health Plans health plans include:

· Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island

The ratings also credit plans that hold accreditation through NCQA.
