ACAP WELCOMES BACK FOUR MEMBER SAFETY NET HEALTH PLANS

WASHINGTON—The Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP) today announced the return of four health plans to its membership.

With these additions, ACAP now represents 84 plans which collectively serve more than 30 million people through Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Medicare, Marketplace, and other publicly-supported health coverage programs.

ACAP’s newest members include:

  • Colorado Access, the largest public-sector health plan in the state. The health plan focuses on meeting members’ unique needs by partnering with providers and community organizations to provide better personalized care through measurable results;
  • Contra Costa Health Plan, a California plan offering Medi-Cal and Medicare coverage to more than 275,000 people in the large and diverse East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area;
  • Jefferson Health Plan, a Philadelphia-based plan which offers Medicaid coverage through its Health Partners Plan, providing unique benefits like free fitness center memberships, in-person and virtual wellness classes, and community events; and
  • Yamhill Community Care, a Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) in Oregon that provides integrated healthcare services, including physical, behavioral, and dental care, to Medicaid members in Yamhill County and surrounding areas.

“We’re delighted to welcome back these four members to our family of Safety Net Health Plans,” said ACAP CEO Margaret A. Murray. “These plans share a commitment to their communities and a dedication to ensuring their members live their healthiest lives. We look forward to collaborating with them in our efforts to improve our nation’s safety net.”
