Job Summary

The Member Retention and Growth Analyst is responsible for establishing processes and operational practices to encourage enrollment and retention within CountyCare for Medicaid and Medicare members.  This position is critical to analyzing and leveraging data to track and membership for all health plan services within CountyCare.  This position will work closely with the Senior Enrollment Manager and senior leadership on devising and implementing strategies to retain and grow membership.

 

Typical Duties

  • Analyzes data to track and monitor membership growth and retention.
  • Works with the Member Enrollment, Retention, and Growth department within operations to devise actionable plans.
  • Performs market assessments on membership and monitor membership changes within the Medicaid and Medicare lines of business.
  • Reports on results and reports to personalize outreach based on population, geography, and other identified priorities.
  • Optimizes existing and conceive new marketing campaigns using targeted text messaging, emails, and other relevant contact channels to activate, engage, and retain membership.
  • Identifies and reports to senior leadership risks and areas of loss and opportunities and work cohesively to develop action plans.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

  

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university is required (Must provide official transcripts at the time of interview)
  • Three (3) years of total experience in a health care or government, environment is required
  • Two (2) years or more experience related to Medicaid and/or Medicare eligibility policy, membership analysis, and growth strategies is required
  • Experience with planning and quality improvement practices in business operational areas is required
  • Experience in anticipating and identifying issues and developing and/or implementing creative solutions related to complex administrative processes is required
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.) is required (MS Office testing will be administered, 70% minimum proficiency rate is required)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with member services and or patient satisfaction quality and process improvement projects is preferred
  • Formal training in quality and improvement methods is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

  • Knowledge working with HFS and OHS
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary for establishing and continuing contractor relations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills
