ACAP, alongside the Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP), Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA), Medicaid Health Plans of America (MHPA), National MLTSS Health Plan Association (MLTSS Association), and the Special Needs Plans Alliance (SNP Alliance) signed a joint letter expressing support for extended funding for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).

The letter applauds Congress’ passing of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s ACP provisions, stating that it has addressed the indispensability of broadband access.

The letter also urges lawmakers to pass a funding extension for the ACP to ensure continued access to broadband for eligible households, including those that can use the ACP for vital needs such as accessing health care providers and services.
